Following the official launch of FEX Marine Platform on 28 May 2026, FEX made its first major international industry appearance at Posidonia 2026, held in Athens, Greece from 1 to 5 June 2026. Together with its strategic partner GCE, FEX participated in the event to present its global port-based maritime services and B2B trade platform, while engaging with shipowners, ship managers, port service providers, marine suppliers, manufacturers and international industry organizations.
Posidonia is one of the world’s most influential maritime exhibitions, bringing together leading companies and professionals across shipping, shipbuilding, marine equipment, port services, logistics, classification, finance, insurance and maritime technology. FEX’s presence at Posidonia 2026 marks an important step in the platform’s international development following its official launch.
During the exhibition, Mr. Youquan Tan (Taylor Tan), Founder and Chairman of FEX Marine Platform, and Ms. Haifen Nan, Founding Partner and Chief Business Officer, attended the event and held extensive discussions with maritime service providers, port-based suppliers, marine equipment manufacturers and industry representatives from Europe, Asia, the Middle East and other key shipping regions.
As a global port-based maritime services and B2B trade platform, FEX Marine Platform is designed to connect port services, marine supply, product trade, logistics fulfillment and international partnership networks. The platform aims to build a more efficient, transparent and trusted service ecosystem for shipowners, ship managers, port service providers, manufacturers and suppliers.
In its first stage, FEX focuses on key maritime service and supply categories including port services, LSA / FFA inspection, ship supply, spare parts logistics, marine product trade and cross-border B2B cooperation. Through a port-node-based model, FEX is gradually building a global service and trade network across major maritime hubs.
During Posidonia 2026, the FEX team held in-depth discussions with HEMEXPO, the Hellenic Marine Equipment Manufacturers & Exporters association. HEMEXPO represents and connects Greek marine equipment manufacturers, exporters, maritime technology companies and related service providers. FEX met with Mr. Vassilios Demetriades, Principal Advisor – EU Regulatory Policy & Government Affairs, and Mr. Christos Papakis, Executive Director of HEMEXPO, to explore potential cooperation between Greek marine equipment manufacturers and the FEX platform.
The discussions focused on product presentation, European market development, port service connections, supply chain cooperation and global trade opportunities. Both sides recognized that as maritime services, marine supply chains and product trade continue to move toward digitalization, platform-based coordination and international collaboration will play an increasingly important role in the future maritime ecosystem.
FEX also held a friendly exchange with Mr. Pepe Bris, Secretary General of International Ship Engineering Service (I.S.E.S.) Association Ltd. I.S.E.S. is an international service network focused on ship engineering services, quality service standards, technical cooperation and global service coordination. The discussion covered ship engineering services, global quality service networks, port service standardization, supplier cooperation mechanisms and future international collaboration opportunities.
In addition, the FEX team visited and exchanged views with a number of international maritime service organizations, marine spare parts logistics providers, port service companies and Chinese maritime industry representatives. These meetings further confirmed the strong demand across the industry for a more connected, digital and cross-regional cooperation platform.
For shipowners and ship managers, global port calls often involve fragmented service providers, inconsistent standards, complex communication and limited transparency. For port service providers and suppliers, many high-quality local capabilities remain difficult to connect with international customers. FEX Marine Platform aims to bridge this gap by creating a global network that combines port nodes, maritime services, product supply, logistics fulfillment and partnership resources.
The participation in Posidonia 2026 also strengthened FEX’s confidence in its long-term strategy: ship services create the entry point, port nodes build the foundation, and global trade networks generate long-term value.
